The newborn insert provides an improved air circulation as well as additional support for your baby’s thighs, spine, head and neck. The head is held upright so that s/he can breathe freely. The ergonomically shaped and padded cushion keeps your baby in a healthy position. Furthermore, the Ergobaby newborn insert keeps the hips and legs of your baby in the recommended position. If your baby is a little older (between the 4^th and 6^th month) and still requires some support, you can remove the back panel of the insert and thus continue using it for a little longer.
