A pushchair aids the development of the baby as soon as he/she is ready to explore the world from a sitting position. The traditional pram combines comfort, safety and maneuverability. Parents have a wide range of options and find themselves faced with an important decision. More information >
Just like every day, Tina is going for a walk with her little daughter Lotte in the local park, which is covered with fallen leaves. The ten-month-old little girl looks around in astonishment. Mom Tina smiles as she recalls the successful transition from pram to pushchair. Right from the start, Lotte was thrilled with her new form of transport, which allows her to sit facing forwards. The smile it brought to their little one’s face was confirmation enough for the parents that they had made the right decision.
Whenever Lotte was out and about in the stroller with Mom and Dad Martin, she wanted to sit upright rather than lie flat. The parents realized a few weeks ago that their current model would soon no longer be suitable for everyday use. While visiting Martin’s sister, the couple had the opportunity to try sitting Lotte in the buggy belonging to her two-year-old cousin. Their little daughter took an instant liking to the upright sitting position, and Tina was impressed at how light the buggy was. But Dad Martin still had doubts: “The buggy is practical for short distances, but will our little one be able to sleep in it comfortably?”
Our dad has raised an important question. Although his daughter can sit unassisted, she still needs to be able to lie down when she’s tired. We at kidsrooms.de recommend that the young family opt for a pushchair. It offers stability and an adjustable backrest, allowing the baby to be transported in either a sitting or lying position. Pushchairs have better suspension than buggies, which is important for children of Lotte’s age when sitting for long periods of time.
Tucked in the matching foot muff, Lotte looks at the colorful fall leaves. Her Mom and Dad opted for the pushchair from Hartan because of the fact that its swivel wheels can be fixed, making it suitable for all types of terrain. Another important feature influencing their decision was the footrest which “grows” with the child; it currently offers Lotte the support she needs, but can be folded down at a later stage.
Lotte’s parents sought advice from an expert. Both were interested to know whether a pushchair would be suitable for use in town. Mom Tina was concerned about the busy subway trains she sometimes takes when going on trips to the zoo with Lotte. With a little help from the experts, both parents opted for a stroller which was suitable for the age of their daughter and met the family’s needs. Every family has its own requirements when it comes to mobility. The various different pushchair models from manufacturers such as Hartan cater for all demands. Parents can choose between pushchairs with three or four wheels, for strolling around town or going on country walks. In our online shop, families will also find pushchairs suitable for two children.
And should Lotte one day get a little brother or sister, the model chosen by her parents can be combined with further stroller attachments and stroller accessories. Please feel free to contact us for advice on the type of pushchair that best suits your family lifestyle.
